Gina has been very busy filming on several projects. Having just wrapped "Christmas Returns Home to Cannan" along side Billy Rae Cyrus, Gina went on to "The Philadelphia Experiment" opposite Ryan Robbins and Emilie Ullerup. In addition to those two projects, Gina was also offered a guess starring role in "The Haunting Hour" working with Michael Ironside to bring magic and wonder alive. Gina's latest project is confirmed and set to begin filming in August 2011. Gina will be starring along side Billy Ray Cyrus and other talented cast in the Hallmark's "Christmas Returns to Cannaan".

Gina is currently in production on the movie for television "Dear Santa". Filming along side Amy Acker, David Hayden Jones and directed by the talented Jason Priestely, this heart warming comedy will be released just in time for Christmas 2011.

It's been a very busy few months for Gina. Wrapping up her film project in Louisiana brought her right back to Los Angeles to continue to audition, and get ready for her next projects. Gina was honored to receive her very first award, the coveted "Eyegore Award", from Universal Studios. Joining fellow honorees at the opening night of "Halloween Fright Nights" on the Universal Studios Lot in Los Angeles. It was a truly memorable evening for Gina and her family.
Gina is currently filming a guest starring role on "The Haunting Hour" and is back on the set of CW's "Lift Unexpected" in November. Watch for "A Family Thanksgiving" to be airing soon on Hallmark channel in the United States, and be sure to get to theaters nation wide this Friday, October 29th to watch the highly anticipated Saw3D, just in time for Halloween!

Gina's latest project takes her to filming locations in, and around Baton Rouge Louisiana where she plays Julia Fogg in "Jules Verne's, Mysterious Island" opposite talented cast Lochlyn Munro,
W. Morgan Sheppard, Suzie Ambromeit and JD Evermore. Directed by Mark Sheppard, the action adventure film is another addition to Holden's ever growing resume of strong leading female characters.

Gina is not only busy currently filming film and television projects, she has also been hard at work producing and directing a photo shoot of all new images for her web site and publicity. Tired of the same images of woman, and idea of "sexy" that seem to dominate the media, Gina is putting together an all female team to help bring to life her idea of what beauty means to her. Inspired by tremendous change and growth in her personal life over the last four years, her vision will come to life when the photo shoot takes place late in June. Details, behind the scenes photos and story will all be posted here, on her official site for her fans to enjoy. The photo shoot is a culmination of her savvy business sense, love of art, fashion, design and acting.

Fresh off of the American horror franchise Saw VII, Gina's latest role takes her in a whole new direction as she explores yet another side of her ever growing craft. Gina will be starring opposite Daphine Zuinga (Melrose Place, One Tree Hill) and Oscar winner Faye Dunaway. Details of the project will be posted soon.

With awards season in full swing, Gina was honored to be invited to, and to attend the BAFTA/LA's 16th annual award season tea party at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday. The old-fashioned, British-style event feted the following lovely ladies: Helen Mirren,Diane Kruger,Anna Kendrick,Julianne Moore. Playing a sharp and beautiful radio executive from from Chicago, Gina will be joining the cast of "Life Unexpected" on the CW, where she has been at home many times before on shows such as "Reunion", "Smallville" and "Supernatural". A desperate woman, Rachel (Gina Holden, HARPER’S ISLAND) attempts to hold up a gas station. But the robbery goes wrong and hostages are taken. The SRU is called in and discovers that Rachel is on the run from a cult compound called “The Farm”. Rachel believes that her husband, the cult’s leader Charles (John Pyper-Ferfuson, BROTHERS & SISTERS), has lost his grip on reality and has become dangerous.Ed (Hugh Dillon) and Jules (Amy Jo Johnson) are sent to investigate. When Ed discovers signs of an imminent mass homicide, he is taken hostage. The SRU surrounds the cult compound, racing against time to free Ed and rescue all the cult members from a fiery end.
